From the beautiful writing of calligraphy to imaginative styles in graffiti this class focuses on art forms created through hand lettering. Students will use graphite sticks, broad edge nib pens , sumi brushes, imprint and painting resist methods to practice,and design unique fonts and graphics. Inspiration will be derived from a letter in the alphabet, the students name, a special character, pet, poem or statement!
