A free form creative way to have students explore art styles, techniques and materials is mixed media. In this class we will develop art pieces using organic materials such as leaves, twine, seeds, flower petals to create unique mosaics, combine buttons, beads, pogs to make a pop art image and use cut-out magazine images and colored paper to make other imaginative images. This class mixes art mediums and materials to explore texture, color and form through a variety of themes.
